DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MAGNETIC HEAD SLIDER

PURPOSE:To optionally adjust gap depth and simultaneously to easily work this slider to a crown shape by working uniformly the rail face of a slider in the manufacturing device of the magnetic head slider used for the head of a magnetic disk device. CONSTITUTION:A rubber material 11 to be an elastic member is interposed between a rigid body 6 and the magnetic head slider 1. The relevant slider 1A is held by the adhesive strength of this rubber material 11. In such a case, the slider 1A is arranged on the circumference in the rotation radial direction of the rigid body 6 at constant interval.
