PURPOSE:To provide a time setting device suitably applicable for an electronic clock, an electronic notebook and other electronic apparatuses with a clock function and inputting only existing effective data by accepting no data into the device when nonexisting data are inputted. CONSTITUTION:An electronic device applied with a time setting device contains a flow processing program. When the first of two digits for the month is to be set via a key action, if 0 is inputted, it is accepted as it is. If 1 is inputted, the numeral of the second digit is checked, if the combined data of the first and second digits are nonexistent data, the second digit value is corrected to 0. If data other than 1 or 0 are inputted, the data are not accepted, and the present state is maintained until either 1 or 0 is inputted. Such processing is performed for the day, time and other necessary data. |
