PURPOSE:To calculate traveling time by modules without applying any heavy disturbance when measuring the performance of a program. CONSTITUTION:An instruction to output data 100 of 12 bytes composed of a clock value 101, space identification number 102 and instruction address 103 of a monitor instruction onto a main memory in the case of being executed is arranged at all the entrance points and exit points of the module to be measured. Next, the program to be measured is executed. After the program to be measured is completely executed, the traveling time of the module to be measured can be calculated by modules by analyzing a data train outputted onto the main memory according to the relevant instruction. |
