The invention relates to a garden tunnel (cloche). It is foldable. It therefore takes up very little space when stored during the season in which it is not being used. In contrast, it can be reused immediately without any assembly. It is made up of two base parts (1) made of flat iron or plastic moulding, of garden hoops (2) of a standard type to be flipped over the iron rods or into the holes in the base parts made of plastic mouldings. A net with square meshes (3) which gives the rigidity of the assembly and protects the plants from damage brought about by birds. A weighted plastic covering (4) causes the greenhouse effect. 2 nylon cords with knots (6) at the ends determine the width of the tunnel. Regardless of the length of the tunnel (placed end to end) 2 end parts (7) are required. The end parts and the base parts are identical. The end parts are reusable as windbreaks in front of the plants (7). 2 tubes (5) are used to weight down the removable covering.
