PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material, in which there is no printing trouble in continuous printing, by improving the recording sensitivity and shelf stability of the thermal recording material. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material utilizing the heat-sensitive color development reaction of a dye precursor and a developer through an undercoating layer containing a plastic pigment on a supporter, a high molecular emulsion containing benzyl alcohol and/or 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3- pentanediolmonoisobutylate as a film formation assistant is comprised in the undercoating layer. |
