PURPOSE:To provide a method for to manufacturing an image-receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording which enables a recorded image with high print density, satisfactory image quality and high gloss. CONSTITUTION:Polyester film is attached to a coated surface after applying a paint for forming an intermediate layer or a base is attached to the coated surface after applying a paint to polyester film, when the intermediate layer containing a resin which cures due to the projection of hollow particles and an electron beam is formed on a base. Next, the surface of the base of the polyester film is irradiated with the electron beam to cure the paint and thereby the intermediate layer is formed. Finally, an image-receiving layer is provided on the intermediate layer thus obtained to obtain an image-receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording. |
