PURPOSE:To simulate the weather and time changes on the same scene after producing the related change between the sky and object areas of a natural picture. CONSTITUTION:A natural picture is divided into a sky area 74 and an object area 76. The light of the object is decided with use of a reflection model of the object and based on the sunbeam 72, the sky color 75, and the reflectivity 77 of the object. The light 75 is decided by the mean picture element value of the sky color 74. The color 74 is decided from the sunbeam 72 and the weather conditions including the clouds, the fog, etc. Then the sunbeam 72, the conditions 73, and the color 74 are decided with designation of a weather parameter 71. Therefore the total simulation of the natural picture is attained in regard of the weather and time changes with change of the parameter 71. |
