Gravity switch, in which a metal sphere (3) can move within a hollow body (2) serving as a support, in order to actuate a balance arm (15) mounted so as to pivot on the hollow body (2) and capable of pressing an elastic element (24) for control of a switch (17). The sphere (3) is movable between a first end-of-travel position, in which the force caused by its weight is applied to a first end (19) of the balance arm (15), so as to be transmitted amplified to the elastic element (24) which, for this reason, closes the switch (17), and a second end-of-travel position, in which the sphere (3) presses on a second end of the balance arm which disengages from the elastic element (24), thereby opening the switch (17).
