PURPOSE:To improve the operability by adding the same information as the information (word registering information) of the freely registered word to the character string subjected to the character type conversion which is not the object of the learning and registering it into the KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) converting dictionary. CONSTITUTION:A sentence storage means 2 stores the inputted sentence and a conversion part 3 converts a HIRAGANA (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) character string into the KANJI/KANA mixed character string by using a KANA/KANJI converting dictionary 4. The KANA/KANJI converting dictionary 4 registers the word used for KANA/KANJI conversion, and obtains the KANJI information and the part of speech information for the inputted HIRAGANA character string. A word registering means 5 registers the word not registered in the KANA/KANJI converting dictionary 4 into the KANA/KANJI converting dictionary 4 freely by an operator. A character string converting means 7 converts the character string such as HIRAGANA and KATAKANA to another character type, and a part of speech information adding means 51 adds the information of the same format as the part of speech information of the word registered in the KANA/KANJI converting dictionary 4 to the character string converted and decided and records it in the dictionary. |
