PURPOSE:To obtain a dielectric, having a high dielectric constant, a low dielectric loss and small temperature dependence of the dielectric constant, excellent in porcelain density and strength and further burnable at low temperatures, and simultaneously enable application to multilayered ceramic capacitors using Ag-Pb electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition is characterized as follows. The above- mentioned composition is composed of components at ratios in which values of (x), (y) and (z) are located in the interior of coordinates (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) [except for a line segment (AE)] in a triangular diagram of the figure when the ratios of the components are expressed by the formula xPb(Mg1/3 Nb2/3)O3-yPb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-zPb(Sm1/2Nb1/2)O3. BaTiO3 in an amount of <10mol% is added to the aforementioned composition and MnO2 in an amount of 0.01-0.6wt.% is further added. |
