<p>A buoyant winch handle includes an elongate recessed body portion (2) of substantially open-faced ''U'' configuration when viewed in cross-section. A toothed spigot (21) is provided adjacent one end (2c) to allow the handle to be releasably engaged with a winch and a hand grip provided at the other end. Reinforcing webs (15a, 15b) and transverse dividing walls (25) are provided within the recessed body portion (2) and a cover (30) sealably engages with the open face thereof to form a reinforced flotation/buoyancy chamber.</p> |
