An electrical installation appts. (10) includes a carrying ring (11) for a pedestal, with twin shanked spreaking claws on opposite sides which can be moved from a rest position into a work position via an adjustment screw. The claws work in conjunction with neighbouring wall regions and have a device for returning them to their rest positions. The return device consists of a rubber elastic member, pref. a silicone rubber member, which is connected to the carrier ring on one side and the claws on the other. ADVANTAGE - Does not require rubber rings or leaf springs to return claws to their rest positions.
