<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the number of designing an excess mask pattern due to alteration of the capacity of a memory in a development of a product of a one-chip microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Memory blocks M1, M2 are so designed and disposed as to determine the length of one side of a chip. The other functional blocks A, B, C are designed and disposed by considering the length of one side of the chip to be determined by the memory block. The block is so designed that the alteration of the capacity of the memory can be performed by altering a profile only in a longitudinal direction of the chip thereby to prevent generation of a vacant area in the chip upon variation of the capacity of the memory. Accordingly, a development of a product due to alteration of the capacity of the memory can be performed without entire influence to the shape and disposition of the functional blocks except the memory.</p> |
