Pump aggregate which is medium-tight to atmosphere comrising a pump unit, a flange case and a split tube electromagnetic coupling (2, 3) in which the pump (1) is connected to the housing (6) of the motor by means of a flange case (5) made as a pressure-tight housing. A lip seal (7) is provided between the inner cavity of the flange and the inner cavity of the motor housing which prevents the ingress of the pump medium into the motor interior (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Pump for handling toxic, explosive or other substances harmful to the environment which ensures that should a seal fail, the medium does not escape to atmosphere.
