PURPOSE:To provide the cordless telephone set in which it is recognized whether or not a caller is a specific party immediately after the arrival of an incoming call. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set consists of a stationary set provided with a caller telephone number detection means 15 connected to a telephone line 1, a storage means 11 storing a telephone number and a high frequency transmission means 8 sending a telephone number, data and a call signal when the number detected by the caller telephone number detection means 15 and the telephone number stored in the storage means 11 are matched, of a sounder sounding a call tone in response to the telephone number data and the call signal sent from the stationary set, and a mobile set having a display means on which the telephone number is displayed. Thus, when the number detected by the caller telephone number detection means 15 and the telephone number stored in the storage means 11 are matched, the sounder of the mobile set sounds the call tone, the telephone number is displayed on the display means and whether or not a phone call comes from a specific party is recognized as soon as an incoming call comes.
