PURPOSE: To convert voltage frequency having a wide frequency span with a simple means. CONSTITUTION: An output signal UV of voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO), to which an input voltage UE is applied, is converted to a pulse string having fixed pulse width through a frequency divider TE. Next, a precise pulse IDF having a fixed area F is generated by adjusting this pulse train, a DC voltage U'E is formed from this precise pulse IDF and corresponding to a differential voltage Ud E between the DC voltage U'E and the input voltage UE, and the VCO is controlled.
