PURPOSE:To quickly execute the retrieval, and to decrease the capacity of a dictionary file by determining the dictionary file to be used, based on information for using the dictionary file, at the time of reading in a document file onto a main storage device. CONSTITUTION:At the time of storing a document file 13 in a storage device 12 from a main storage device 14, a control program 15 adds information 11 for using a dictionary file to the document file 13. Also, at the time of reading the document file 13 stored in the main storage device 12 into the main storage device 14, the control program 15 selects a dictionary file 16 to be used from in the document files 16-18, based on the information for using the dictionary file added to the document file 13. In such a way, by adding the information 11 for using the dictionary file to the document file, and selecting the dictionary file 16 required for its document file at the time of starting a document processing, based on this information 11, the KANA(Japanese syllabary) to KANJI(Chinese character) conversion can be executed more efficiently. |
