PURPOSE:To obtain four channel outputs with a satisfactory S/N by adding a time delayed output signal an additional microphone adjacent to a sound source, to a microphone output, time delaying the added output, adding and subtracting the result. CONSTITUTION:A signal sound picked up by an additional microphone 5 closer to a sound source 1 rather than stereo microphones 2 and 3 is branched by a 2 channel branching means 6 and time delayed by 1st and 2nd time delay equipment 7 and 8. It is independently added to stereo microphone signal sound picked up by the microphones 2 and 3 and new 4 channel surround signals SL and SR are synthesized. The added signal is time delayed by time delay equipment 20 and 21, suitably added subtracted so as to synthesize new 4 channel surround center signal SC and surround signal SS. Thus, the surround microphone system of 4 channel outputs with the satisfactory S/N can be obtained. |
