The pressure-operated valve, particularly a safety valve, comprises a bush (25) with axial inlet bore (12) and several radial outlet bores (26). A piston-type plug (16) with edge slides axially in the bush, which contains an annular passage (27) between the inlet and outlet bores and of greater diameter than the inlet bore. A stepless transist area is formed between the inlet bore and the annular passage at the plug control edge. The outlet bores extend beyond part of the annular passage, so that a zone free of the latter remains. This zone can be between 1/3rd and 1/5th of the bore diameter. |
