Purificn. of aq. H2O2 soln. (I) is carried out by (1) passing (I) through a strongly cationic resin in the acid form; then (2) cooling (I) to a temp. between 0 deg. C and the f.pt.; (3) passing the cooled (I) through an anionic resin of medium strength in the basic form, so that (I) enters and leaves this stage at the same temp.; and (4) contacting (I) with an adsorbent resin with a macroreticular structure. All resins have a styrene-DVB matrix. Pref. the temp. of (I) is less than (-8) deg. C before and after stage (3). Stage (4) is followed by filtration.
