The pre-cast flights of steps (2 and 4) are supported at their head and foot of the flights on a supporting ledge (6). The ledge and fixings (10) are so formed that both flights of steps can be laterally moved for the application of final finishes, such as cement screed, wall hangings, before being finally fixed in position. The steps are covered with slabs of artificial stone material (5), which may also be applied to the risers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows for neat wall - stair interface finish on the installation of pre-cast flights of steps.
