<p>PURPOSE:To provide a heater having an air cleaner in which an assemblying characteristic, a life and a dust collecting efficiency of the heater are improved and a generating amount of ozone is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A heater having an air cleaner is comprised of a combustion part 16, an air blowing fan 12 for supplying air for hot air feeding to the combustion part, and an electrostatic dust collecting device 15 disposed at an air intake port 11 of the blower fan 12. The dust collecting device 15 is comprised of a needle plus electrode and a flat plate-like minus electrode plate which are arranged in parallel with an air flow, wherein an extremity end of the needle plus electrode is formed into an arcular shape and at the same time an electrode protection member made of insulation material is disposed at an upstream side of the plus electrode. Accordingly, an electrical discharge from the plus electrode is dispersed, an excessive electrical discharge from adhered dust is eliminated so as to reduce a generated amount of ozone, a dust collecting efficiency is improved and at the same time an assemblying characteristic and a life of the heater are improved.</p> |
