<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous operation of a photosensor even when a photodetecting element constituting the photosensor detects an external light, not the light from a light emitting element constituting the photosensor. CONSTITUTION:This photosensor apparatus has a transmitting part 1 of electric pulse signals, a light emitting element 2a forming a photosensor 2 which generates optical pulse signals S2 synchronous with the electric pulse signals S1, and a photodetecting element 2b for generating electric pulse signals S1' after receiving the optical pulse signals S2 from the light emitting element 2a when a light shielding member 3 is not interposed. Moreover, the sensor apparatus includes a comparison part 4 which compares the electric pulse signals S1' from the photodetecting element 2b with the electric pulse signals S1 from the transmitting part 1, and judges that the photosensor 2 is in the operating state when the output signal of the photodetecting element 2b agrees with the electric pulse signal S1 from the transmitting part 1, or in the non-operating state when the signals are not coincident with each other.</p> |
