An oval wheel quantity meter for small parameters consists of two mutually engaged oval wheels (2,3) in a shaped measurement chamber machined into a housin gpart or a measurement chamber insert. The two oval wheels, and at least the component or housing section which forms the bounding walls (5) of the measurement chamber (11) which are radial to the oval wheels, are made of hand-coal contg. dense carbon. USE/ADVANTAGE - Eliminates some disadvantages of conventional meters so that small gaps between wheels are achieved with very easy running action.
