PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing ceramic powder for forming suitable as magnetic heads, etc., with a reduced hole diameter in ceramic burned bodies, improved in hole distribution and especially suppressed in formation of the holes having >=50mum diameter. CONSTITUTION:The subject method for producing ceramic powder for forming of this invention has the following construction. A ceramic raw material is mixed with a water-soluble organic solvent (humectant), water and a water-soluble binder, and the resultant granulated powder, together with media (dispersion media) composed of a spherical or a straw baglike form such as alumina-based, zirconia-based ceramics, metal or resin coated ceramics or a metal, is introduced into a hermetically sealed rotating type mixer and subjected to mixing and grinding treatment. |
