<p>This invention relates to novel compounds for treating inflammatory conditions by inhibition of phospholipase A2 activity of formula (I) wherein X is oxygen, sulfur or -CH=CH-; wherein R1 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 6 carbons or a pharmaceutically acceptable cation; wherein R2 is phenoxy, alkoxy, methyl, trifluoromethyl or phenyl; wherein n is an integer from 1 to 20; compositions comprised of the novel compounds; and methods of treating inflammatory conditions with these compositions.</p> |
