PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner having a cross flow blower for reducing noise without deteriorating a pneumatic performance. CONSTITUTION:In an air condition in which a cross flow blower 3 installed in a flow passage defined by a stabilizer 10 and a rear wall 5, a clearance defined between the stabilizer 10 and the cross flow blower 3 is formed such that a partial segment of at least one end of both ends along an axial direction of the cross flow blower 3 is defined as a specified S0, and other segments than this specified segment are gradually decreased at S toward the other end of the cross flow blower 3 and then an upper end 10a of the stabilizer 10 is formed to have a certain height. |
