Method of cutting out pieces from length of material

The method consists of positioning the material (10) on a cutting-table (16). The material is cut out by a manually or automatically operated cutter from a pattern. All the cut-out sections (1-8) are cut out of part (12) of the material on the table. A reference point (15) on the fabric is preferably outside the cut-out part and on the remainder of the length. The fabric is conveyed over that part of the cutter-table previously covered by the cut-out part. The reference point is fixed according to which the starter-point for cutting is positioned. The process is repeated until all the material has been cut out.
