<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a pulse compression means that is not affected by a Doppler shift even when a target has a relative speed in a pulse Doppler radar apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A transmitted pulse outputted by a transmitting means 1 is radiated to a target from an antenna 3 via a transmission/reception switch 4. A signal reflected on the target is inputted into a pulse compression means 5 containing a pulse Doppler processing means 6 passing through the antenna 3, the transmission/reception switch 4 and a receiving means 2. The signal inputted into the pulse compression means 5 undergoes a Fourier transform with N-point FFT arithmetic device 52 and M-point FFT arithmetic device 62 separately and then, is subjected to a complex multiplication with a reference signal corrected in Doppler effect generated by a reference signal generation means 10 with a complex multiplier 51. Thereafter, a reverse Fourier transform is performed with an N point IFFT arithmetic device 53 to produce a narrow pulse width signal.</p> |
