发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVING COPPER FROM STEEL SCRAP
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To economically recover copper and to allow the utilization of steel scrap by selectively separating the steel scrap accompanying the copper from a steel scrap group and heating the scrap in a molten flux, thereby migrating the copper into the flux layer and separating the copper. CONSTITUTION:The steel scrap accompanying the copper is selectively separated from the steel scrap group. The iron part and the copper part are automatically detected by an image analysis of a color difference or by the temp. difference based on a thermal conductivity difference to make the above-mentioned sepn. The scrap selected in such a manner is preheated in this way and is housed in a vessel 1. The molten flux housed in a heating vessel 2 is transferred between both vessels via a connecting pipe. The copper is heated to above its m.p. in this way and is migrated into the flux and is preferably made into a uniform phase to avoid its dissolution. The flux contg. >=3 kinds of SiO2, CaO, Al2O3, MnO, FeO, Na2O, B2O3, CaF2, and NaF is more preferable. The part contg. the copper is thereafter settled and separated from the molten flux by a sp. gr. difference. The copper is recovered in this way and the flux is recycled.</p>
