<p>PURPOSE:To automatically correct trapezoital distortion which is generated in the case of obliquely projecting light on a screen by use of a projector, to increase the degree of freedom for setting the projector and to offer an easily seeable picture. CONSTITUTION:The projector is constituted of distance detectors 10 and 11 for detecting the projection angle of the projector 13 with reference to the screen 12, an A/D converter 2 for correcting the picture based on the distance detectors 10 and 11, a memory 3, a D/A converter 4 and a microcomputer 8. In the case of detecting that the projector is inclined with reference to the screen, a video capable of eliminating and correcting the distortion generated by the inclination is projected on the screen. Thus, the easy to see picture can be obtained.</p> |
