<p>PURPOSE:To provide an optical semiconductor device which can be easily handled, lessened in manufacturing cost, and enhanced in reliability at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:In an optical semiconductor device where a photoreceptor element and a light emitting element are arranged facing each other, a photoreceptive element 3 and a light emitting element 4 are mounted on a lead frame 10 of integral structure, and then a part of the lead frame 10 where either the light emitting element 4 or the photoreceptor element 3 is mounted is so bent as to enable the elements 3 and 4 to confront each other. Or, a lead frame of integral structure mounted with either the light emitting element 4 or the photoreceptor element 3 and a flexible printed board where either the light emitting element 4 or the photoreceptor element 3 is mounted are provided, the end of the flexible printed board is fixed to the lead frame, and the flexible printed board is bent to enable the light emitting element 3 to confront the photoreceptor element 4.</p> |
