<p>Connector for a battery terminal of the type enabling each of the terminals of the said battery to be connected to the use circuit and including a means for rapidly locking and unlocking the said connector on the corresponding terminal, characterised in that it is essentially composed of a cover which goes over the terminal and is integral with a cam structure movably driving and locking or releasing two plates (6, 7) which can move in opposing translational movement with respect to one another, the said plates gripping or releasing, respectively, the terminal so as to make or break the electrical contact.
