PURPOSE:To enable a serial signal to be created by comparing two multiplier outputs and counting with an up/down (U/D) counter, creating a bi-phase rectangular waveform which is shifted by 90 degrees, adding it to a previous counter, and then storing the maximum and minimum values of its output at a register. CONSTITUTION:A bi-phase sinusoidal signal which is converted by A/D converters 1a and 1b is multiplied by a signal corresponding to it which is generated by a ROM 3 by multipliers 2a and 2b, the results are compared by a comparator 5, and they are counted up and down by an U/D counter 6. The value is discriminated with a specified threshold by a state discrimination circuit 13 for creating a bi-phase rectangular waveform which is shifted by 90 degrees and then is input to an U/D counter 11 through a direction discrimination circuit 10. Then, the details of the counters 6 and 11 are added by an addition circuit 12, are added to a register 14, and the maximum or minimum value is constantly retained at a register 14 by a comparator 15 and a latch pulse generator 16. An output of this register 14 is added to an EX-OR gate 17, thus obtaining a serial bi-phase output. |
