<p>PURPOSE:To assemble parts on a car body which requires many assembling manhours in reasonable manners, in a mixed production line or plural kinds of car bodies. CONSTITUTION:A car body Bs which requires the much assembly manhour among plural kinds of car bodies Bv, Br, and Bs which are mounted on transport hangers H1 and H2 and move on a main transport line L1 is confirmed by a machine kind confirming mechanism D3 and branched to a side separating transport line L3. After the car body Bs is transferred to a specific machine kind assembly line S2 from the transport hanger H2, and the parts specific for the car body Bs are assembled, the car body Bs is transferred to a mixed machine kind assembly line S3 by a transfer mechanism T2. Into the mixed machine kind assembly line S3, other machine kind car bodies Bv and Br are transferred from a main transport line L1, and the parts which are comnon for three kinds of car bodies Bv, Br, and Bs are assembled. Since the need of returning the car body Bs which is demounted from the transport hanger H2 to an original transport hanger H2 is obviated, the flow speed of the specific machine kind assembly line S2 for the car body Bs can be varied independently of the flow speed of the main transport line L1.</p> |
