<p>A combine harvester (10) is disclosed comprising threshing and separating means (26) including a rotatable threshing drum (28) with a cooperating concave (32) and which are disposed at least in part in trough means (196) arranged to receive threshed and separated crop material from the threshing and separating means (26). A conveyor (24), is provided in operative communication with the threshing and separating means (26) for supplying harvested crop material thereto; the conveyor (24) having a discharge end (60) at or proximate to the upper end of said trough means (196). Inspection cover means (186) in the form of a pivotable and/or a removable door (186) are incorporated in the trough means (196) generally at the side thereof adjacent to the conveyor (24). The arrangement is such that, when the inspection door means (186) are removed, respectively pivoted to a retracted position, the threshing and separating means (26) are accessible from underneath said conveyor (24). <IMAGE></p> |
