PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing a negative pole with high utilization factor and stable charging action, in the case of performing chemical conversion treatment by adding indium to a non-sintered cadmium plate. CONSTITUTION:A non-sintered cadmium plate, containing indium or an indium compound, is chemical conversion-treated in an alkaline water solution mainly composed of sodium hydroxide. |
