<p>The invention describes a method for controlling at least one reservoir cleaning device, which works according to the injection principle, and also, in the case of liquid-collecting reservoirs operated in parallel, at least one emptying device which effects the emptying the liquid-collecting reservoir, in particular for controlling devices of rainwater reservoirs operated in series or parallel, wherein in parallel operation the emptying device conveys liquid from the rainwater reservoir into a channel if the liquid level in the channel falls below an upper limiting value and that in the rainwater reservoir reaches or exceeds a lower limiting value.
