PURPOSE:To prevent a fogging after toner supplement and provide a stable image density many times in a developing method for thin layer formation using a magnetic toner. CONSTITUTION:In a developing method for thin layer formation using a magnetic toner, the nitrogen adsorptive specific surface area A (m<2>/g) of a colored particle, the addition amount of an inorganic fine particle (wt.%), the nitrogen adsorptive specific surface area C (m<2>/g) of the inorganic fine particle, and the nitrogen adsorptive specific surface area D (m<2>/g) of the magnetic toner after adding the inorganic fine particle satisfy the following scheme; 5<10<4>(D-A)/(BXC)<60, and a process for supplying the toner into a developing vessel in which the toner is left is included. |
