PURPOSE:To obtain an extruded article with a high dimensions accuracy which is uniform in the development of luster along with a beautiful appearance by one melting the surface to be lustered of an extruded article with the heated inner surface of a cylindrical body provided at an outlet of an extrusion molding die. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 2 having a channel 21 almost identical in the shape of the section to an outlet 11 of an extrusion molding die 1 is connected to the die and maintained at a proper temperature by heating with a heating means 23. An extruded article P is brought into contact with the inner wall of the channel 21 whereby it is once melted only on the surface contacted. Then, after solidified by cooling, it is undergoes lustering locally.
