PURPOSE:To outputs a musical sound which is rich in timbre and to output a sound which is close to a live sound when the level of an input musical sound signal is low by varying the mixing ratio of a signal generated from an input musical sound signal through distortion processing and the input musical sound signal according to the level of the input musical sound signal. CONSTITUTION:A level detecting means 20 detects the level of the input musical sound signal, a distortion generating means 21 adds distortion to the input musical sound signal, and a filtering means 22 performs a filtering process. A mixing means 23 mixes the output of the filtering means 22 and the input musical sound signal while setting the mixing ratio according to the level of the input musical sound signal detected by the level detecting means 20 and outputs the mixed signal as an output musical sound signal. |
