<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate an ejection lever and to simplify a cassette loading/ unloading mechanism by holding a cassette holder so that it moves to the recording and reproduction position at the cassette slot side from the waiting position at the side opposite to the cassette slot. CONSTITUTION:A holder 12 is held in a shift mode toward an inner position and therefore each foot part 202 of a side plate 20 is put on the waiting position plane 144 of a guide member 14. Then the holder 12 entirely moves up and is set at a waiting position. When a cassette 50 is put into the holder 12, the front edge 501 of the cassette 50 pushes the cassette contact pin 54 of an ejection lever 34. Thus the lever 34 is turned clockwise against the energizing force and the pin 54 moves the shutter 502 of the cassette 50 to the side place to open a magnetic head loading/unloading window. When the cassette 50 reaches a prescribed position, the lock part 341 of the lever 34 is relived from the lock part 203 of the plate 20. While the holder 12 moves to a cassette slot 52 by the force of a spring 32. Then the part 202 of the holder 12 slides down the sloping surface 145 of the member 14 and reaches a recording and reproduction position plane 146.</p> |
