<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the damage of a tape at the tape leading- out time by applying a voltage to a reel motor for a certain time when a cassette is set, and applying the voltage there again after temporary release. CONSTITUTION:The reel off state is switched to the reel on state and the reel on state is held for a certain time approximately simultaneously with setting of a cassette 1 to reel bases 11 and 12. If a magnetic tape 2 does not sag in the cassette 1, then, the tape is taken up. The tape 2 in the cassette 1 is loosened momently by reel-off. Thus, the force of friction between fixed posts 5 and 6 in the cassette and the tape 2 is eliminated or reduced to make it easy to move the tape 2 vertically. Next, a reel motor 10 is rotated by a reel on signal 21 to apply tension to the tape 2, and the tape 2 is restored from a position 16 to a position 14 therefore. Since a difference 17 is approximate zero though the tape is led out in the leading-out direction in this state by a leading-out post 3, the tape 2 is set into the post 3 smoothly.</p> |
