<p>NEW MATERIAL:3-Amino-5-hydroxy-1-cyclopentene-1-methanol of formula I , or a compound with protected hydroxyl in the above compound or its optically active compound or their acid adducts. USE:Especially, the (-)-isomer is preferred and is used as a synthetic intermediate of 2'-deoxynepranocin A, which shows an action of inhibiting the growth of L5178Y cells. PREPARATION:The reaction of a compound formula II (R is amino-protecting group such as formyl and carbamoyl) with 1,3-dichloro-1,1,3,3-tetraisopropyldisiloxane gives a compound of formula III (ipr is isopropyl), which is allowed to react with an alkyl xanthate. Then, the product is radically reduced with tributyltin hydride using a radical initiator as a catalyst, followed by elimination of silyl group and amino-protecting group to give the compound of formula I .</p> |
