PURPOSE:To provide a music selecting device capable of efficiently and certainly performing retrieval of music name and music selection executing operation. CONSTITUTION:A music selecting device has a memory part 26 for storing music information, a display part, operation parts 18, 18A, a music selection processing part within a control part 12 for conducting music selection processing, and a signal transfer part 14 for transferring a music selection signal. The music selection processing part has a retrieval processing part for displaying items to determine music name retrieval conditions on the display part, switching the display of the items up to the item of the final stage by the operation part 18, retrieving the music name satisfying the retrieval conditions of a series of the items from the music information stored in the memory part 26, after selecting the item of the final stage, and displaying the music name list on the display part, a music information display processing part for displaying a determined music information related to one music name selected by the operation of the operation part 18 from the displayed music name list, and a music selection output processing part for transmitting the music number information related to the selected music name to the signal transfer part 14 on the basis of the operation of the operation part 18A. |
