<p>PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of data collision and to improve the transmission efficiency of a satellite line in the case of making slot allocation request. CONSTITUTION:In the satellite packet communication system in which an earth station allocating a transmission slot on a satellite line is used for a master station 1 and other earth stations are used for slave stations 3a-3n for the execution of satellite packet communication, a satellite line for the transmission from the slave stations 3a-3n to the master station 1 is provided with a request signal control area comprising slots allocated to each slave station and allowing each slave station to allocate slots and a packet transmission area comprising plural slots to send an information packet, and a line for transmission from the master station 1 to the slave stations 3a-3n is provided with a control information area through which allocation information of the transmission slot allocated by the master station 1 and with a packet transmission area through which the information packet is sent.</p> |
