PURPOSE:To provide a stair climbing vehicle for load carrying capable of carrying a heavy-weighted material through stairs even by a worker with less physical power and easily changing the direction even in a narrow landing of stairs. CONSTITUTION:A stair climbing vehicle for load carrying climbs stairs by driving wheels 42, 44 provided in the front and the rear of a vehicle body with a load 30 being placed on a load placing base 70 on end of which is pivotally fixed to the vehicle body 4. In this vehicle, the other end side of the load placing base 70 is tilted upward by a tilting driving means and laid in the state inclined at a determined angle, whereby the horizontal space occupying length of this part can be shortened. Thus, the direction turning in a landing part of a narrow space can be more easily performed. |
