PURPOSE:To provide a vacuum cleaner having built-in air cleaning function capable of reducing necessary installation and storage space by integrally forming both the cleaner and an air cleaner. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum cleaner body 11 has an electric blower 12 at the downstream side of a dust collection chamber 19 continuous to a suction port 15. An exhaust passage A leading to an exhaust port 16 via a freely detachable cleaning filter device 13 and an electric motor 14 with a built-in air cleaning fan respectively mounted at the downstream side of the electric blower 12, is formed within the body 11. Also, an air cleaning intake port 17 free to open and close, and directly continuous to the cleaning filter device 13 is formed on the external surface of the body 11. Also, an air cleaning passage B is formed, ranging over the port 17 to the exhaust port 16 via the device 13 and motor 14. |
