<p>PURPOSE:To continuously conduct recording on and reproducing records from two cassette halves. CONSTITUTION:When a second holder 300b is caused to come down to a reproduction position, the first auxiliary guide 722 of an elevator 700 bears an auxiliary guide in the branching position of a first carrier path 120 so that a first holder 300a located at an insertion opening 120 can move to a standby position along the first carrier path 120. Also, when the reproduction of a cassette half in the reproduction position ends, the elevator 700 pushes up the second holder 300b to the highest position so that the second auxiliary guide 711 of the elevator 700 in the branching position of the first carrier path 120 bears an auxiliary guide at the time when the guide 711 moves another cassette half from the standby position toward the reproduction position. Thus, when the cassette half in the reproduction position inside a stereo set is taken out, a mechanism for sending the cassette half in the standby position into the reproduction position is built in so that records from two cassette halves can be reproduced continuously.</p> |
