PURPOSE:To reduce the change of resistance for high power input and to improve breakdown characteristics by forming a sintered body which contains molybdate of alkaline earth metal and at least one kind of metal selected from a group of Au, Ag, Pt, Ru, Ni, Cu, Co, and Pd and/or a metallic oxide thereof. CONSTITUTION:A sintered body is made from resistor material which mainly contains molybdate of alkaline earth metal and at least one kind of precursor thereof, and at least one kind of metal selected from a group of Au, Ag, Pt, Ru, Ni, Cu, Co, and Pd and/or the metallic oxide thereof. The main component of the resistor material is made to contain a composition of at least one kind of molybdate of alkaline earth metal and its precursor in 30-96% by weight converted to molybdate of alkaline earth metal and glass of 4-70% by weight, and at least one kind of metal and/or its metallic oxide selected from a group of Au, Ag, Pt, Ru, Ni, Cu, Co, and Pd of 0.05-3.00 weight part to a composition of 100 weight part. Durability can be thereby increased and the rate of power operation change and breakdown strength characteristics are also improved. |
